South Dakota-Pheasant update please

What are the preliminary reports about pheasant hunting in South Dakota? Slightly NW of Mitchell to be exact. I will be there for the opener again this year.

I think the forecast is the same every year- outstanding to unbelievable. I don't think last winter was very hard, and I haven't heard much about the spring rains flooding out nests, so I would assume that this year should at least be as good as the last few.

I live in Watertown and from what I heard from the GFP is that pheasants are at a 40 year high. It should be fun shooting this year.
