Default MN question

Is it legal to hunt deer in MN with buckshot if so what size.

Why?

I guess in states where rifles are legal, the state can put the screws to traditional shotgun hunters.

I guess I wasn't aware that buck shot is part of traditional shotgun hunters..??.. What is a traditional shotgun hunter in regards to deer hunting?

Buckshot isn't leagle in many areas (Not leage in Wisc. either) becuase it woulds a lot of animals. A well placed slug is more effective. A lot of peaple beleive they can take shots through thick brush or at deer they couldn't hit with a single slug and will some how do better by haveing a pattern of pellets.
