I'm planning on applying for a muzzleloader tag for the first time this year. Can I not apply for an either sex muzzleloader permit if I already have one for shotgun season?

I believe it says you can. But, you are still only allowed 2 buck a year no matter what weapon used. I sent in for ML and SG either sex.

Yes, you can can apply for and get both at the same time.

Two buck rule applies to all methods.

You can muzzle during shotgun season. And I believe this year you should be able to shotgun in muzzle season, too, but I DO NOT KNOW this second part for sure.

I knew you could use muzzle loader during shotgun season. I've been doing that but I haven't heard about the shotgun during muzzle loader.

They better not be able to shotgun on muzzle loader weekend!! That will take away some prime rut hunting time for bow season. They already get some of the prime time for almost a week and a half.

i dont think you can use a shotgun on muzzle loader season but i did hear you could use a shotgun during pistol season

Here is a link with the answers. You will be able to use a shotgun or muzzleloader during the Handgun (surpluss deer) season.
I just wish we were able to in my county.
