Effingham County, IL
Does anyone here hunt in Effingham County or surrounding area? If so what do you hunt and what is your biggest animal so far? I hunt 2 hundred acres in Effingham County with my dad and two brothers. My biggest is a 8 pointer (it was 9, but one broke off) and i also shot a smaller 6 pointer and a small doe last year (management). My dad shot a monster 12 pointer last year. It was awesome because the antlers were so thick, my hand barely fit around them at the base. I ahve gone turkey hunting the last three years but i have not gotten one yet. I know they are there though....i saw a ton last year deer hunting.
