I called one in last weekend using a Lohman Circe Cottontail call and a Screery Howler.... no decoys. This is really the first year that I'm trying it, so I'm just using my trusty Remington 788 in .243. If something happens where I get big into predator hunting, then I'll look at a .223 or something similar.
I use the standard critter-call, but about any call will work. I like it because I'm able to make some nice high-pitched distress sounds with it. I use either my moss. 835 with 3 1/2" mag loads or my .308 with FMJ, since that gun is dead-eye out to 500 yards.
