Default Baited Coyote Hunting

Has anyone laid out some deer scraps and just waited for coyotes? Did it work? Does it take a lot longer than calling?

I have tried this several times and have never had any luck with it, it just seems as if they are a little skeptical or something. But if you try it let me know how it works for you.
