Default Rattling bucks

when will it be a good time to start rattling this season in ohio??

you want to rattle in the rut witch is going on now if you rattle at the end or when rut is out you will know dought spook them

I rattle pre and post rut. The bucks are anxious and looking for somthing to do. During the middle of the rut I use my estrous bleat. Remember bucks can breed as soon as their velvet is gone until they drop their antlers. If they hear competition they will probably check it out. During the peak of the rut they would rather be with a doe than fight.
