Default Bow fishing in Michigan

I really want to try bowfishing, where is the best place around Lansing MI to get plenty of opportunitys? Also keep seeing pics of some big carp where is the big ones?

We used to use a small 14ft. flat bottom jon boat on the Maple River north of St, Johns There used to be a parking lot off 27 the old part now for access.
We got carp and suckers from there and at the spawning time it was not uncommon to arrow two or more fish at once they were that thick.

I would also think there are areas on the Grand with good bow fishing.
