I was wondering the same thing.
Getting ready for Sept 6 on the Mighty Mississippi.
Duck numbers are up enough for a longer season this year which is good news...so the birds should be flying if this cold front comes down.

Went on Sat AM.
Dad got 2 birds.
Saw more this Sat than 2 weeks ago....still not at all like last year.
Oh, well.

Had great 2 day hunt at Anderson Lake, limited early both days, stayed in nice cabin across road and had a great time, even had free gift certificate for food & beer
