Illinois Shed Hunting

I'm from Louisiana, and have a lease near Barry, Il. I was looking to go shed hunting there, but living so far away, I was wondering what would be the best week to go? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a few farms as well and being from NJ I just don't have the time to shed hunt, between work and family it's tough, I would say early/mid March

Anytime after Valentine's day. Before then there may be some on the ground, but I'd say that is about time to go full on. If no one else is on your ground wait until March, and get em all at once. Still plenty packin up here.

i usually go around saint patricks day (mid march) and grab a bunch. I feel like if you go before then, you're going to need to take a second trip sometime before the season.
