Default Wanting to hunt Whitetails in Ohio

Hi all,

I live in Idaho. Never hunted whitetails. Sounds like I may be coming to Ohio soon. Thought I would give it a try. I was looking for a good outfitter and came across this deal. Has anyone on here worked with them?

http://www.outdoorsman.com/outfitter...itetail_Ranch/

Seems like they have some huge bucks coming off there ranch.

thanks,

I dont know anything about the ranch, but the article said " fair chase whitetails", so they must be wild and not pen raised. If this is true, Ashland IS NOT one of the top places in Ohio to hunt big bucks. Look at Licking, Muskingum and Coshocton counties for the top producers.

Why would you want to leave Idaho to hunt whitetails? - We have incredible numbers of whitetails here!

Well I hunted with Bill pyles from ohio bow outfitters this past season. Honest, hard working I don't know what else to say. Feel free to PM me if you would like more info. I think the website is bowoutfitters.com

You may want to look up http://www.ohiohunters.org. They could advise you on some of the outfitters in Ohio.

I live pretty close to Ashland...No way in the world I'm paying $2,000+ to hunt around here.

Hunting is good...but not that good.

Gr8,
Heres a site that might give you a heads up on where to lease or start scouting. Good luck.
