Default Hunter dies after struggle with deer....

This happened a few miles from my house in Noble County, Indiana. Here is the article:

That's unreal but it happens, I had an uncle maulled by a buck, one must make sure there dead before letting your gaurd down.

That's an interesting story. A long time between 9AM when he called saying he shot the buck and 12:30 when he called for transport...

My dad cut that article out and gave it to me, I find it hard to believe that this happens but it does. I guess it goes to show that you have to be careful at all times.

The first rule in taking your game is, approach animal with caution, with gun ready, touch the eye and then take posession of the animal.

well thats a tough situation.
a deer can kill a man easily.
sorry that happened.
make me think twice now b4 approaching a "dead" deer.
killing it with a knife is never a good idea..bullets are cheap, you only get 1 life.
