I got this nice buck with a fx mathews an old but good bow .8am 17 yard shot he went down on impact .spine shot .18 insibe 220 lb.I am new to illinois just moved in sep. first illinois buck and best with bow.

Got him scored and he grossed 159 and 1/2.Very happy with my first buck from il.

Awesome buck congrats!! Just a ? what is the big hole on his under side looks like yotes but you said you spined him??

The first one was in the spine .I tried shoting him a second time from the tree .When I shot he spun on me and that is where the arrow hit him.
