Will the rut be postponed?

Mayhaps a bit early to be talking about deer hunting and ruts, but the other day I was wondering if the rut might be a bit late this year. Reason is that all the weather has been breakin late around here (Ohio). Spring broke late, summer broke late, the rainy season is coming late, the mayflies we get up around here in Toledo came a couple weeks late, etc.. So I was wondering if the rut may come late as well, or do the deer stay pretty consistant despite what' s going on around them?

It' ll be right on time. Usually doesn' t fluctuate more than a few days. The weather doesn' t effect the rut. The length of the days is what triggers it.

It has been a strange year here in Ohio. I agree with Magis though. The rut will occur in the same timeframe that it usually does.
