Jason, its going to be hard to keep that 12,000 limit now with them selling out in 5 days. I hope, know I pray that when they raise the limit they make it a mail in draw tag system like Iowa. Maybe that would stop some of this out of state leasing!! Maybe some people would stop spending some of the un godly money on leases if they didn' t draw for a couple of years. It would also give everyone a chance. Outfitters could not by tags for clients the first few hours. It just seems fair to draw, give everyone the opportunity to hunt our great state.

Yes I' m glad I took no chances and kept calling the first day. I was in the process of leaving for a 5 day vacation at Hot Springs. Had I not gotten through I was just going to wait till I returned. Didn' t even consider there wouldn' t be any left by then, as it took 4 weeks last year. Luckily I got it done. My hunting partner put it off and got stuck without. We even drew special bowhunts earlier in the year. Now he can' t use his.

Where exactly is " BIGBUCKVILLE" ?

What is the population? 1?

I looked all through my Illinois Gazetteer map book and couldn' t locate it.

ILL BUCK,

I agree with your assessment on how they should sell the out of state tags. when I lived in Illinois it was hard to get a place to hunt. now, I wanted to come back and hunt with my Dad, and it is way to difficult to find a place which turns into way to expensive.

By allowing the outfitters to buy tags, that just burdens the every day guy like me.
