Default Cool weather & food plot

I planted my fall food plot of turnups and brassic's the weekend of Aug. 7 & 8th. Now with this cool weather I'm wishing I would have planted it in mid July! The planting is looking good with being 8-10" tall but I'm affraid it won't mature now with temps at night hovering around freezing. Any thoughts on this situation?

I just got mine planted last weekend. Here in central illinois I always plant mine either the last weekend in august or the first weekend in september and have never had any problems. Turnips and brassicas will continue to grow even after several heavy frosts.
