Default Seen My First Bobcat!

Im currently in training as a motor vehicle operator in the United Staes Marine Corps at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. While driving what we call the river route early this morning a good size bobcat ran in front of me while driving a 7 ton Mk23 i almost didnt get the truck stopped and almost hit it my instructor and i had never seen one before and we just sat there in the road and watched. Pretty eat experience now i want to shoot one.

Wait till you see one up close in the wild while hunting. I was deer hunting a number of years back and I was standing up gazing over a bean field. I turned around and there was a bobcat walking right by me. I kept my gun pointed at him. He was only about ten feet from me. I didn't bother him and he didn't bother me. I liked it that way. I seen several over the years while hunting.

I walked out to my mailbox one afternoon and looked and I thought it was a stray cat about thirty yards from me. Then it stopped walking and stared at me and I got a good look at it. It was a young bobcat.

Plus a few years back I saw a bobcat in an old downed tree root and was sitting there watching it and out come two cubs.
