Default Indiana bow hunting

I'm looking for a good place to bow hunt in Southern In. On the DNR website I noticed several public areas, but theres not much Info. Any QDM areas with a 3-4 point rule?

The Hoosier National Forest would be your best bet for a quality hunt with few people and larger bucks. I have never hunted there but I know it covers alot of ground and I used to know a guy who killed mulltiple large deer there in the 80's. Good luck

welcome to the forum. I hunt southwest indiana. Her in sullivan county I hunt minnihahua mainly. Good deer less hunting then most places. Most of the people who hunt here travel her from other area. That has dropped off alot with the bad economy. There is also greene sullivan state park which is rather large and it has alot of access. I here good things about brown county aswell. The thing about here is there area corn and bean fields all through the WMA. If you come out here I would be glad to go out with you or if you come down ahead of season I could show you some of the spots I have found. I am also buying a business which sits on some land between to forest plots two crop fields and a creek so I should have some private land to hunt.
