Default Kansas Hunting Lease Available

I have 100 acres of prime river bottom ground. I've been thinking about renting it out for muzzleloader/bow season. I only rifle hunt on the property. It is possible the later part of rifle season could be available also.
Currently there is 66 acres of clover planted down in the bottoms. There are corn feeders setup also. I will be planting additional food plots this summer.
You will be the only one hunting on the property during your time period. This is for one deer. More than one is negotiable. I have trail cameras setup so I can send you pictures. You are welcome to bring your own stands. I may have some shooting platforms setup.
Here's a possible schedule:

First Session: Muzzelloader/Bow 14 days $1100.00
Second Session: Bow 14 days $1100.00
Third Session: Bow 14 days $1100.00

Next years schedule has not been released yet.
If you are interested, give me a call 620-365-7181. You should go to www.kdwp.state.ks.us for permit & license information. I would be open to discuss any option.

$1100 for a 14 day hunt ? Why is the tradition of hunting coming down to how much money you can spend to rent land to hunt ?

I haven't shot any big bucs yet on this property, but my son and I are just after does. I hunted deer for quite a few years and at this point in my life we are just looking for the meat. The wife thinks does are more tender. I have owned the property for a couple of years now. If I can I will attach some pictures from cameras that a friend of mine set up for me. The guy that farms the ground for me said he saw some of the biggest deer he has ever seen this summer when he was cutting the clover.

In 2009 Archery and Muzzleloader season opened on Sept. 21. It should be around the same date for 2010.
If you are interested in a week, I could work with you.
There are three motels about 18-20 miles away. A good number of restaurants also.

Go to www.kdwp.state.ks.us or call 1-800-918-2877. They should be able to answer all of your questions.
