Sure! Hit Jamestown Wildlife area. Jamestown is an excellent place to bird hunt. Download a "WIHA" atlas page for the area, there is some, not a lot but some, WIHA in the area you can hunt while you are there. Stay in Concordia, KS. You'll have a very nice hunt and Concordia is nice small town. Go for it and post pictures when you get back home!

Saluk the 2010 Spring WIHA turkey maps aren't out yet. However most of the 2009 land should carry over. In 2009 there were several farms in SW Osborne County, WIHA Map # 9, that should be real good for Rio's. I hunted that general area for Rio's last year and had no major problems finding birds. I'd guess if you came out for a week and hunted a different WIHA every morning you should have a real nice hunt and take home a bird. Spring turkey hunting in Kansas is really nice hunt all in all.

Here is the link for the 2009 maps:

Be sure to get the 2010 maps before leaving for your trip! WIHA property in Kansas is REALLY well marked - if you aren't sure you are on the WIHA you probably aren't.
