Default Richland County, Illinois Buck

My Dad's hunting partner took this one on Friday evening. He is pretty proud, so figured I would post it. I was much happier with the button buck that my dad dropped. The meat is gonna melt in my mouth it is so tender...

YEA RIGHT..... I bet!!!

I know everyone I hunt with would be much happier with a 50 lbs fawn that probably still has milk on it's face!!! You're kidding, right. Perhaps, you should learn how to prepare venison meals better and more importantly, how you take care of your venison in the field.... you shouldn't be getting that much of a varried tste from properly prepared venison, especially compared to a still realitively young 3 1/2 year old buck.

Nice buck. Having not being able to hunt the first season I'm really looking forward to the second season. I'm leaving Wednesday for Pope County. I just checked the 10 day forcast and it looks perfect.

"You shouldn't be getting that much of a varied taste..."

I know I won't because the button buck is going on the grill and the 11 pointer is getting turned into sausage

Hello, Mr. Grumpy. Your a fool to argue that there isn't a taste diffence in a yearling than a rutted up 3 1/2 year old buck. Kinda like saying you would rather eat a ram than veil?

Has the IL. bow season been tough on you this year?
