New to the sport

Hey all!, my name is Nick, I am a 26 year old engineer from cincinnati. I have been interested in hunting for a long time but I am now at a point in my life where I can afford it. I have a bow and have been practicing as much as I can. I am trying to find some property to hunt around here anyone know of any? I have a few places that I may be able to hunt but no definates. I just wanted to introduce myself to the locals and get to know some people.

Hi Nick, If you can hunt the public Hunting areas Like East Fork Lake Wildlife Area or depending on where you are in Cincy check out the Ohio DNR site for maps. Use Google Earth for views. I hunt public and private land depending on my time available to hunt. Public land is closer for me than my private land. I usually talk to other hunters I might encounter for info and just to chat hunting.

I just went through signing up on this website and found out at the end that the only participating countys in Ohio are Carroll, Jefferson, Harrison, and Tuscarawas. All 4 of these are in north east ohio. I wish more countys would get involved
