Illinois NR Firearm Deer Permits

When I applied for my NR permits I purchased both a Either Sex & a Antlerless only tags. Yesterday I got in the mail my either sex tag, I looked on the Illinois DNR web page and double checked if I indeed purchased a Anterless tag as well, and I did. I called the DNR and finally after 15 calls a person picked up, and I explained to him what happend, he checked and concured that I did purchase both tags, but they are mailed out at different times.

So are they mailed out at differnt times?

In the past I would get them at the same time

Illinois is not a well oiled machine. I would check the DNR web site and try to decifer it myself instead of taking their word for it!

I agree with you, and I did check and it says I did purchase both tags.

I moved into my new home two days before the closing of the permit deadline, so they mailed it to my old address, so it may take a few more days.

I just got off the phone with my friend, he said he got both, but they came in different envelopes, so I will give it a few more days

They always come in separate envelopes. I agree with the "not a well oiled machine" comment. "Rod the Wad" pretty much destroyed the IDNR before he got impeached. It will show up.
