My oldest nephew is going today to drop the deposit for an H&R USH Deluxe so that his little brother (another of my nephews) will have some shooting iron. $300 plus tax is what they are getting around here. He shopped around and that was the best he could find.
My son and I both got our Full Season permits according to the web site. We haven't recieved them yet in the mail though. I did get my muzzleloader season permit in the mail today. Kinda funny the muzzleloader season is after the 1st and 2nd firearm seasons and I always get the muzzleloader permit in the mail first.

Uncle Matt, Results have actually been posted since June 16th. I put a post on here. I was also lucky for both shotgun full-season and muzzleloader. This made my day because I applied for 2 very tough units. Shotgun is a public property in west-central IL, muzzleloader is JEPC.
I did not draw any permits last year.
I've only hunted the shotgun property once, but the sign was incredible. I'd be stunned if Iget to the point where I'd need to use the JEPC permit. I plan on bowhunting this 1st property for at least a week prior to the gun opener, to get to know it better. Already made reservations.
