looking for an area to hunt pheasants in SD

I am looking for a land owner in south Dakota that would let our party of four hunt their land for pheasants this fall. We would pay a fee to hunt their land as we have been doing this in prior years. The reason we are leaving the area we have been going to is their price went up too much and they changed all their cover to corn. This makes it real hard on the dogs and hunters. We used to hunt milo and short sorgum fields in the past and that was the ticket.

If anyone knows of a farmer or land owner who lets hunters on their land FOR A FEE, PLEASE let me know. You can PM me or let me know on this thread.

There is all sorts of places out there, just bring your checkbook. I hunt ND myself, I just refuse to pay $450 a day foy my two boys and myself to hunt. Look around Mott you will find something.

Not sure where you hunted but you can call the Chamber of Commerce of the various cities in SD and they can help. Most all of them in pheasant country have a list. Chamberlain, Mitchell, Winner, Dallas, Kennebec, etc. Should be able to get the numbers off of the net.
