Hoss,

Where in southern IL? Johnson or Williamson counties? Post and let me know. If either of those two I will be makin some calls there and will get the lowdown. I get more and better info on Johnson county. I know that the populations have realy shot up in the last years. I' ve seen tons more gobblers, especially the areas I frequent in Johnson county around Cypress and Vienna.

I' ll be lOOkin for your post Hoss.

Hoss-sorry about delay and hope you did (or do) allright.

I talked to my friend in Johnson County and my cousin in Williamson County.

Both said turkey activity and spotting have been more that last couple years, with birds spotted from roadways daily. Looks like turkeys will be on the rise for awhile down here.
