The beloved Governor of Illinois has been taken into Federal Custody with his Chief of Staff!!! They were allegedly trying to sell Obamas senate seat and withhold money from the Chicago Tribune illegally.

Being a retired StateEmployee this is a great day for me. The man has done nothing but rape, and I mean rape the State of Illinois since he got in office. I'm as thrilled right now as I was when I heard they caught Saddam hiding in that dirt hole

I would just like to say thank you to Patrick Fitzgerald and give kudos for his unwillingness to do business as usual here in Illinois.

Oh, and Merry F'ing Christmas Govenor.

Guess Ms. Patty will be looking for someone new to spend time with.

And think of how much money us taxpayers will save not having to fly this bag of turds back and forth between Chicago & Springfield.

But why oh why were there no media present for the "perp walk". I think the public DESRVES to see him sporting those shiny silver bracelets. As a public official, the highest elected public official in the state he has to be held to a higher standard.

Hey All,

This guy will hopefully now get what has been coming to him for a long time. I was born and raised here in this great state and have hunted here on my grandparents centenial farm for half of my life. The IDNR and the hunting community who supports it has seen and felt enough of the negative effects of this governor.This could mean better days for all of us.

Looks like they got him on wire tap. I hunt in Illinois but live in Louisiana. I have been following what he has been doing to your state and state parks and had discussions with farmers at Pam's Cafe in Pleasant Hill, Illinois. I hope for all the residents of Illinois that these charges do stick and he is brought to justice.
