In my neck of the woods, I'd say the first early does have started to come in. Lots of scrapes on the ground and I've been seeing bucks just cruising during daylight hours....I haven't seen any chasing yet, but it should start any day now.

Just got back from MO for some bowhunting. it was warm and windy! young bucks are chasin! older bucks were starting to pop up but slow and showing up late! had 3 bucks fight right in front of me in a pond. that was cool but shots until they were done. had a chance to poke at a 140/145 buck but blew it ! had a good time.

I'm just starting to see scrapes and rubs. Really seems like nothing so far compared to last year.

I was out pheasant and quail hunting up around Macon, MO (actually closer to Atlanta MO) on Saturday the 8th and I saw lots of scrapes and rubs. Didn't see any bucks chasing but it was pretty windy and cold all weekend and I was hunting the field edges, not in the woods or in bedding areas.

yea this time last year it was nothing to have 6 different bucks running around my stand. just be ready though cause when it hits it will run you over like a freight train.
