Default Wisconsin Monster!-- Possible World Record

If you hadn't heard, a monster was dropped last week in Buffalo County. 14 points with two stickers. This is the buck known as the "Field and Stream" buck, that was featured in that magazine just a short time ago. A couple links to stories about the buck are below.

Some guys have all the luck!

Great deer, but too many NT points to be a world record.

I figure he'll have a final score in the 170's typical and around 225 NT.

Congratulations to the hunter.

Yeah, not sure if "World Record" is in the cards, but still a nice buck. Better yet, sounds like it was taken by an ordinary guy from the area, not some dentist who paid $5,000 to have a guide put him right on top of it in return for a big tip.

Yes the buck was 100% free roaming on open land, no high fence. He had been seeing the buck all spring and summer and had him pinned, he was just waiting for the right time to drill him. Congrats to him and hope many more to follow.

Just goes to show that hardwork and determination can and will payoff. Congrats to the shooter on a monster of a buck.

The first article is another recap of the hunt with a pic. The second link shows the skull and horns caped out {need to scroll down a little}.

Also came across this video from this past summer that captured the buck hangin' out.
