Default CWD in Wisconsin

As everyone from wisconsin knows the talk of CWD as gotten everyone so damn uptight. I ate some venison just the other night that was harvested this year and boy did it taste good. Are you concerned as a hunter, sportsman, or venison lover?

Yes, and so should you. You should try to imagine what its like living here in the eradication zone.

What ever happened to those independent positives from Grant and Marathon counties?

I was reading on another board where the person stated that the tests were confirmed at the Ames lab and another independent site. Anyone else here anything about these?

The last thing I heard about those two test results in question was that the fellow who sold those test kits(and did the verifying) would not share samples with the DNR.
The test administered was not the " gold standard" that is the only one recognized by the USDA.

Call the lab and get the whole story. Phone 414-774-0311. You' ll be amazed how these quality people were treated by your dnr.
