Default La Crosse, WI Hunting Land??

I go to school at UW-La Crosse and I am originally from the Green Bay, WI area. Just wondering if anyone knows of any good forest crop or public land.

Thanks!

Near Black River Falls is State Forest & lots of public-always did good bowhunting that area.
Not familiar around LaCross but not that far away. Forest & camping (Pigeon Creek) a couple miles out of Millston.

There is some awsome hunting in the river bottoms just south of LaCrosse! There is always some real monsters taken from that area and its public!

Fot McCoy offers great hunting, but if you go northto Black River Falls you will have great opportunity to harvest some nice bucks on Hawk Island. You will need a boat to get there though
