Default Wisconsin Bowhunting-one month in.

So far not hearing about too many taken, but did get this one from a friend of mine. Not too often I've seen a nice one harvested in velvet. This one was taken right after opening weekend.



Also, check out the short video clips of a nice one a buddy of mine has been patterning. (Can't seen to get video clips on here, but here is the link: http://www.whitetailnirvana.com/2008_DeerPix.html Hasn't had a shot yet, but he's seen him on hoof a couple times.

Got my doe couple weeks ago and got my eab sticker now just have to have a big one come by.

I hope he realizes he needs to contact the DNR within7 days of taking a buck in velvet so he can obtain the permit to keep the velvet antlers. Velvet bucks are against the law to hold unless you have the permission and permit from the DNR.

Good point about the velvet, same ruling goes with spotted fawns and now that albino deer are legal, you must do the same if you shoot one of them.

Just got this one to put up on my website.

Check out this beauty taken yesterday (10/23). 11pts. 18+ inch inside spread and 225 lbs.
