Default Have any Indiana hunters noticed....

the hunting shows are having more hunts in Indiana now? What is that telling you about Hoosier hunting?

The area around our land in NE Indiana has had independent cable hunting shows film there. I don't mind it, as long as it's not Jimmy Houston's fence hunting BS.

Without a doubt the hunting is getting better and better in Indiana. What does that tell me? The outfitter will be there quickly and you will paying high lease prices like us in Illinois. Enjoy!

Jim, that is the worst thing that could happen if you're a local hunter. Look out for more out of state hunters, more outfitters, higher lease prices, and less land available to you.

I don't know if we're going to get the big outfitters that the other big deer states have, but you can guarantee that there will be less and less farmers allowing the average guy to hunt his land for free. Especially when they learn they can get $1000+ for doing nothing but letting a person kill the deer that eat his crops.
