IL Youth Season - Johnson county
So we drew a permit each for my middle son and my nephew. A couple 13 year olds.
Really want the nephew to score his first deer and my son is looking for his second after tagging a doe last youth season.
We hunt our private land but there are some public lands open in Johnson county we might want to try out. Does anyone have any insight into Cache River SNA, Cypress Pond SHA, Deer Pond SNA, Glass Hill SNA or Skinner Farm?
I already downloaded the maps from IDNR showing boundries and such along with the printed infos. Tonight I will start looking into aerial images.
I'd appreciate any and all info if anyone can share.
