when does MO rut start?

going down to folks place in the ozark area to something new! cheap

anybody have an idea? and is it descent? have a few farms to hunt.

Im in Salem, and for me, I like hunting from about November 1st till rifle season starts, I usually see the most chasing activity then.. I actually take vacation starting Nov 1st and goes through around Thanksgiving, and I try to hunt every day. Are you bowhunting or rifle hunting? How long are you planning to stay and hunt?

Halloween weekend is usually when the bucks strart moving, also that is the same time as the MO youth season so the kids will have them moving around too. I have a place in Douglas Co to hunt just 4 miles south of Ava. Squires is only about another 5 miles I think.

maybe might have to wait a week after youth hunt. to letthings settle so the deer are not sketched out
