Default Don't Forget To Purchase Your......

If your a non-resident hunting Illinois this year don't forget to purchase both a hunting license and habit stamp, they both go hand in hand with your deer tags, etc. I'm not sure if this applies to residents of this state.

I think that this year most of the habitat stamp money is going toward the Obama campaign. The remainder is being used along with the deer permit money to repave roads in Schaumburg.

Yes, residents need the Habitat Stamp as well. Always have needed it.

Good luck to all.

I can't remember when they started the habitat stamp crap. I think that it is idiotic to have it required, but not to have it as an automatic procedure that thestampand license come together.

we too need a license and habitat stamp. not sure what in addition to your permit that will cost you non-residents, but if you're already upset about $400 deer permit, wonder what a NR annual license would run you. Course they make I think 10day NR licenses.

Cheaper than a ticket though....DNR certainly patrols during firearms season, and they're known to be less than friendly.

Father got a "warning" years ago for not signing his license, the landowners were shocked that he didn't get a fine/ticket, they've dealt with that game warden before. So don't forget to sign your license/permits etc....before going into the field, otherwise they're void and if you get stopped, simply signing it may not solve the problem....

Some wardens are cool others aren't. I got checked for the first time in my life in Illinois two years ago. The guy could have hassled me for not having written permission to be on my cousin's land, but he was only interested inchecking my license and habitat stamp and I volunteered to show him that my 870 had the plug in it.

You wouldn't be accusing Il democrats of misappropriating funds, now, would you?

Misappropriation of funds, especially DNR-generated funds, by Chicago Democrats? Perish the thought[]
