I cant wait for the morels to come. what i mean is we cut some elms down this winter. I read yesterday that it can take up to 2 years for morels to start sprouting after a tree has been cut down or died. morels are actually formed from the sap of the tree and goes into the ground and forms the bacteria needed for the morels to grow.

figured yall would share some pictures ! ..... i find mushrooms that size or smaller every year lung, but leave them most of the time

These are my first, I found them while turkey hunting. I was in heaven, when I was Mushroom hunting I found nothing, but while turkey Hunting I found these! Almost put an end to my Turkey hunt!
