Default Ohio land....

My brother is moving to Greenfield, just south of Dayton. And I am going down to scoot. Does any one hunt this area???Is this a good place to check out?? Is there any public land. Hopefuly I can find a farmer how whats some deer gone!

Good luck finding private hunting land. You might check into applying for an archery deer culling permit through the Dayton Metroparks.

There's an urban area that looks good. States full of public land but ya got'a be better than the others who hunt it. People every where. I've been on several of them and there's always fresh sign of people if not people themselves. Had 8 menonites camped out in one I was in this past year. That was special.

Your odds are definately better on private prop. There are some great places to hunt on public land but theres always the chance of getting walked on, esp. during gun seasons, i don'tlike dealing with the "human factor."
