Default Rutting activity???

I was out last night hunt during the Antlerless 4 day season here in Wisconsin. I look up and I see a big 10 pointer I missed 4 weeks earlier with my Bow. He was all over chasing a Doe! Kinda cool to see the bucks still chasing!

I watched two different bucks in two different areaschasing does friday. And they were chasing them, not just following. One I watched chase a doe over 5 or 6 acres of woods, grunting every 3rd or 4th step. Pretty cool to watch. She ditched him, and then bedded down and watched him look for her scent for 5 minutes or more till he walked out of sight. Then she got up and left in the opposite direction. Pretty cool.

I just love seeing bucks chasing Does thru the woods! Nothing like it, especially when they're grunting away! Sounds like you had a great hunt!

I did! I had only seen 6 deer, all bucks, before friday, and then I see 10 in one day. It wasmy best day out, except for the day I got my deer. I haven't seen one grunting after a doe like that in a while.
