It's happening in East Central Illinois!!!!!!!

I seen the 3 different bucks chasing does last night and early this morningwhere I work, and the one I seen early in the morning was while driving home about 10 miles away from work. It's finally here and I am STUCK at work until Sunday![:@]

How long does the rut normally last up there. I won't be able to go until next Friday the 9th. This is my first year in Illinois and am hoping I don't miss the rut. I'll be there from the 9th until shotgun season starts.

I am heading to Fayette county next week I hope it is still rocking when I get there. Do you guys hunt daylight to darkI thought about climbing in my stand saturday and not leaving until I starve !!!!
