we are hunting in ohio this friday can anyone tell me if the rut has started or would it be better to wait and come another time

I am heading there to hunt next week. Got invited to do a private land hunt. Land owner has seen bucks sparing and younger bucks chasing. Sounds like it is starting to heat up. I am hoping cooler temps equals more activity as well. This info is second hand so take it for what it is worth.

Exactly what is goin on right now , saw the same thing last night

Bucks are at the very least in the "seeking" phase... Will be a great week to hunt.
