I haven't done any hunting this past 4 or 5 days, so I'm just curious what you guys have been seeing out there? Anybody seeing any bucks moving durring the daylight hours?

From what I have seen, andthe reports i have heardthe rut is later...deer are starting to move but still not that much. no mid-day movement yet, no does seen in out of the way spots trying to avoid bucks, few bucks cruising....

Do you think an evening hunt would be worth it tonight? I can't get to my spot until about 4:15...

I would think so....that still gives you a couple solid hours of hunting.

They are pretty much in rut now the bucks have been grunten and chasing doe.

yeah id say its good now my bro just got a nice buck sunday. and we saw several others. where r you guys from in Iowa? im from southeastern around keosaqua
