Minnesota Rut??!!

Alright guys, is it just me or is the rut really REALLY REAAAAAAAAAAAALY late this year? Ive only seen one scrape anda COUPLE rubs. I looked at the weatherandits suppose to get cooler in the middle of next week with highs of 40's and lows to the lower 30's but still last year at this time we a couple inches of snow. I sure hope something turns around here. I havent hardly seen any of the big bucks on the cameras that I seen last year, and I know they didnt get shot!! I dunno, Im just getting eager to get out there ASAP..

I don't recall snow last year at this time. And I don't think the rut is late. It is just now starting. I have seen fewer sign in certain areas but I have seen a few bucks dogging does grunting. It suppose to be ideal for chasing phase from Oct. 31 thru Nov. 5.

We shall see. Can't kill them waiting at home right?

I have trail cam pics from last year on 10/20 with around 3-4 inches of snow up towards St. Louis county. I know im getting really anxious for the hunt year. Im heading to shoot the muzzleloader tonight. good luck
