In my area there has been deer found dead, has anyone else found or heard of any? I have not had the chance to speak with the Game warrden. With bow season just a few days away I'm concerned about the hunting. All that I have heard was second hand , they said it was a gnat or fly biting the deer. Any info. from you guys would be helpful.
We have found a few in Pike County, OH. It seems like Highland county has been hit harder than us. We have had several cows test positive for EHD--it is not fatal in cows. From the people I have talked to there have been a few deer found here and there. Some deerfarms near Highland county have lost several deer.It comes from gnat/flies that are around stagnant water. A big rain would help a lot.
You Ohio guys gettin any rain where your at? Its raining in buckets here in Illinois im just hopeing it will help out our bluetounge problem a little bit.

where i hunt at i found deer last year dead shot with a bow and only the backstraps missing talking to the local dnr they said there are poachers taking deer at night only during october and spotlighting them
