..New to the area (Dayton, OH) from WV and was interested if anyone knew of any local ranges where I could sight in and practice with my rifle around Dayton (at least 100 yards range).
Additionally, if anyone knows of any decent deer hunting land around I would appreciate it as well. I'm sure there is some local public land, but I'm new to the area. I wouldn't mind driving an hour or so if need be....

Don't know of any ranges, to far away. But I know some guys that went to the deer creek area and thought it looked good. I think it is south of I-70.

I live in the Dayton area. I haven't found any place close by to hunt, but haven't looked to hard either. If you are into bowhunting, the Metroparks has been allowing archery hunting at a lot of its parks to cull the deer population.
