Default No increase on Il NR bow tags!

Just checked the DNR website and they are advertising the NR combination archery license at $365 same as last year. I Would never have guessed that they wouldn't take that third increase that was provided for in the law.

What a "bargain" in a state where there are more deer than rabbits[:'(]

I know it sucks the giant banana for someone in lanse's postion, having to shell out that kind of money to hunt on his own land with his family and friends in his former state. That part is unfortunate.

But I could care less how much it costs for a guycoming to Iljust to shoot a buck that is the same color as the deer in his own state.

Thanks dude. But I have come to accept the situation as a form of penance for me being a total idiot and not buying a lot more land when it was about 1/4 the price that it is now.

Yeah, and how do you think it makes me feel being 24, broke, and no family ground other than a little bit of what my sister married into??(thanks sis)

At this point my only hope is to combine with a few others and aquire a small parcel and take it for what it is.

I hate to see the shape of IL hunting in 10 years.
