A friend and I are looking for a place to do some hog hunting in WI. We are looking for any place between Clark county and Richland county. If anyone knows where we can find some please let me know asap.
I haven't even seen a hog in WI yet. I know we have them around, but I couldn't tell ya where they'd be at. Good luck finding a place to hunt hope you and your buddy get a couple!

Check with the DNR last year the Milwaukee journal ran a stroy about hog in Wisconsin and I think that there was a state map wherethe wild ones had been spoted , the DNR may have that map online still or know where to find it .

Call the office in Madcity they have a wild hog guru and hell tell ya just where they are.Hogs arent like deer though. They have a range of@20 miles and dont bed in the same place twice from what i saw. They just kinda stop and sleep when they feel like it.Good luck!

Well i got ahold of the head office via email and got some great information on where to locate some tasty porkers. my buddie has started knocking on doors down in the Gays Mills area. Havent heard anything from him yet. Does anyone know how much public land is down there?
You don't have to go far from neillsville. About 15 miles northwest. There are some pigs in the Rockdam area. We have seen them crossing Camp Globe Road and Kohler Ford Road. There are some wallows in the mud on the logging trails off Kohler Ford Road in the lowlands.
Have also seen pig tracks on the 3 forest roads off the East side of highway H near the clark/eauclaire county line. There are some mud wallows near the river bottom where the ATV trail crosses the river about a mile upstream of highway H.
Great we will try these areas out on the next hunt. Thanks for the info.
