Default Tree Huggers?

Is anyone starting to have a hard to time finding land to hunt because of these guys? Being close to Madison, we have a lot of liberal tree hugger pricks that will buy massive amounts of prime land and not let anyone hunt it. The year before last we had permission to hunt a farm near Fall River WI, and this past year the the owner does this 180 and says we're all killers and huting should be banned (needless to say we can't hunt there anymore) I'm just curious if this is a problem anywhere else in the state or region with people like this.

They're "reason" when we asked them why they wouldn't let us hunt (besides we're all killers) is that they liked to watch the deer and go on hikes. The funny thing was, is that we NEVER saw them outside of the house anytime we were there, not for scouting, shed hunting, early season or late season. The only reason we even knew they were still there is because they had cars in the driveway. Oh well, I've heard similar stories this past week from a couple of friends and just thought I would see if this is getting to be a bigger problem.

Well it is still bettor to have a farm go off limits than to see some prime land turned into a development

I never thought of it like that, and it's very true. It does at least provide a sanctuary for some deer to grow big and mature. At least the farm is still there, maybe I can get permission again if they ever sell the property to someone else.
