I was sent these pictures via E-Mail and was told that theses animals where in Marenisco, Michigan just north of the Wisconsin border. Can anybody else shed some more light to the story about them.

The only thing I can say is they must really be using those long legs. So far the exact same ones have been in Greenville, Me, MI, New brunswick, and Ontario (did a search on albino moose in google as I saw those pics quite a while ago)
Thanks for finding all of that out for us. I didnt even know there were moose in the UP. I knew there are Elk in northern WI and the UP, but I didnt think there were many moose.

Don't know about those moose being from around the Marinesco area. The only concentration of moose in the U.P. was from Michagamee, Gwinn area, east to just before Marquette. They reintroduced them in the early 1990's, they released them between Michigamee and Big Bay. The only substantial numbers of albino moose, I know of is in Chapleau, Ontario. I can almost definately say those moose are not from the U.P. area.
