who has a deer

So how many deer has everyone gotten? I still havent gotten one. Little sad that I havent. <img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>I just guess thats the way it goes.

Did not get a deer in gun season; could only hunt up 'til Wednesday. Got one with a bow about 3 weeks ago, so the freezer is still full.

Well I was genuinly getting concerned, then ended up filling my buck and doe tag this morning. I got busted and screwed up plenty this year and then, bam. Go figure. <shrugs>

I was real tempted to not go out this morning on account of how cold it was.

I got a small Buck in Gun Season. I started out not seeing any Deer, but seen around 20 Turkey...
I found me another spot Deep in the Woods, and seen several. Got me one...

It's not Braggin if you back it up...

I shot two does during the Michigan firearm season. One on opening day November 15, and the second on November 23. Will be lots of good eating for the next year.

got a nice 8point (my first deer ever) on the 17th, i should have had another doe but i was too stupid and didnt have my gun up when it stopped 10feet in front of me

I got a doe. It was a nice first deer. Hopefully it will be an annual thing, except with bucks instead of does.

Nope, didn't get one during the first gun season, had a shot at a nice 8 point, but as I was lining up the shot, I saw another guy in our group behind the deer, so I couldn't take the shot! Oh, well, I guess I'll have to get a late season tag in January and hope for decent weather....
